Microfilm of original records in the Greene County Courthouse, Carrollton, Illinois.

Until approximately 1845-1850, deed records were kept in the probate court by the probate clerk. After that time, the county court was responsible for the records and the county clerk (ex-officio probate clerk) recorded them.
