Microfilm of typescript (carbon copy, [19] leaves) at the Maryland Historical Society, Baltimore, Maryland.

The will of Peter Jones, Sr., of Hampshire County, [West] Virginia, written in 1792 and proved in 1795, lists his wife, Catherine, and ten children. His grandson, Henry Jones (1795-1866), son of Peter Jones, Jr. (1762-1828), migrated to Ohio, with his family. He married Nancy Moss (1800-1879) in 1817. They had fifteen children 1817-1844. Children and grandchildren lived in Ohio, Illinois, and elsewhere.
