Thomas Russell came to Doran Cove [Alabama?] from South Carolina. He was born in 1761 and married Tabitha Jenkins. Includes his descendants. Also includes information on James Russell, Sr. (1769-1862) who lived in Bunker County, North Carolina. He later moved to Summerville, Georgia where he married Ellen Baker. They later moved to Jackson County, Alabama. Also includes extracts of Russells in Chesterfield County, Virginia deeds, 1774-1799; Russells in estate books for Knox County, Tennessee, 1792-1842.
Includes Doran and related families.
