Book of remembrance assembled and published by Fred G. Taylor (b.187-), serving in 1933 as president of the New York Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Fred G. Taylor (Alfred Green Taylor) married Charlotte Johnson in 1901 The book includes many biographical sketches of Latter-day Saint ancestors, written by Fred G. Taylor and others members of the family. It was James Taylor (b.ca.1615) who immigrated about 1635 from England to Caroline County, Virginia, and was the first American ancestor of this Taylor family. William Taylor (1787-1839) was the first family member to become a convert to the Church; he died of typhoid while removing his family from land near the inhospitable Farr West, Missouri. Some earlier history in England is included, as well as history of the Latter-day Saint family in Utah, Idaho, California, New York and elsewhere.
Includes Chase, Farr, Hix, Hurd, Lake, Patrick and related families.
