"Christopher Branch of "Arrowhattocks" and "Kingsland," in Henrico County, the founder of the Branch family in Virginia, was born in England--presumably, within the County of Kent--about the year 1600; and he married there very early in life. With his wife, Mary Branch, whose maiden name is unknown, he emigrated to Virginia in the March of 1619-20..."--p. 25. "...Christopher Branch lived for sixty years, dying at a very advanced age either in the December of 1681 pr om tje Kamiaru pf 1682... Mary "...died at an early age--apparently before 1630"--p. 31. Descendants lived in Virginia, Georgia and elsewhere.
