"It seemed wise to make a fresh translation, which has been done by the undersigned [Frederick S. Weiser], and at the same time to make a transcription of all records in the two volumes which might be of genealogical interest. The task of typing and indexing was done under my direction by Mrs. Carol Keys" -- Introd.
