The cemetery is located west of the drive in the Alma Cemetery and may be also known as the Lutheran section. The church cares for this part of the cemetery with the city paying for the water facilities and may keep separate interment records from the city.
Includes index to owners in the first book.
First book is arranged by section and covers ca. 1875-1965. It gives name of owner, lot location, name of deceased, dates of death and burial, and the following information about the deceased: age, sex, residence, race, marital status, date and place of birth, occupation, parents' names and birthplaces, cause of death, and undertaker's name. The second book (has running title "New Cemetery") covers ca. 1957-1966 and gives much of the above information. Information is not always complete.
With: Church records, 1864-1966 / St. John's Lutheran Church (Alma, Kansas).
