There is a letter of explanation and a map for 1909, but there is no census.

The "scattered area" Indians of Nevada reside in the Northern part of the state, a great distance from the Carson Indian School. During 1927-1929 a separate census was made for each scattered colony, but in 1930 they were combined under the heading "Scattered Indians".

In the 1937 census, if the person appeared on a different census roll for the previous year the name is abbreviated. The abbreviation and what it stands for are listed at the bottom of the census page involved.
