MiltEcclesiastical Society in Litchfield was established May 1795 by division Litchfield Scoeity, as the successor of the winter parish established Janueary 1769 - Litchfield Third Society. The church was organized in 1798 as MiltCongregational Presbyterian Church. The name was changed in 1800 to "The Church of Christ in Milton".
