To locate names in these books use the Probate Abstracts first. The Probate Abstracts will give references to volumes C, H, L, O, R or to numbered volumes. The volumes titled with these letters can be found under Navarro County, Texas. Clerk of the County Court. Deed record, 1846-1887. These records were deeds and therefore filmed with the deed series. The other probate records are minutes and start with volume 6 as listed below.
