Microfilm of originals at the West Virginia University Library, Morgantown.
The court of origin is not always noted and may be the county, circuit superior, or circuit court. The name is given when it is known.
The first index on roll 0174604 covers the years 1818-1820, the second is unknown and the third covers the years 1869-1872 or the first item on roll 0174608. The index for 1826-1831 has some of the index first by year and then by name. There are two indexes for 1843-1846. The index for 1838-1842 starts with page 203.
Some of the books have missing pages in this filming. 1866-1869 is missing pages 1-24.
The book for 1808-1812 may have earlier years because the first part of the book does not give years.
Includes an index for most volumes.
