The records of these two churches are intermingled. They were very close to each other and often had the same minister. Ramapo no longer exists as a locality in New Jersey and must not be confused with the adjoining town of Ramapo, Rockland County, New York. In early times Ramapo was an area in Bergen County, New Jersey.

Contains members including deaths, 1821-1824, 1831-1849, 1854-1876, 1901-1903; baptisms, 1818-1899, 1901-1907; marriages, 1821-1824, 1831-1906; funerals, 1847-1881, 1886-1889, 1897-1907; ministers, 1821-1900; burials and deaths, 1821-1943; transcript of inscriptions from Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Saddle River, New Jersey, including the deaths mentioned above.
