Richard Corbin (1804-1880), son of Jesse Corbin and Elizabeth Forrester, moved from Culpeper County, Virginia to Fountain County, Indiana, married Narcissus Schnorf in 1835, and later moved to Coles County, Illinois. Descendants lived in Indiana, Illinois, Washington, D.C., New Jersey, California and elsewhere.

Includes Armstrong, Childress, Doty, Hill, Replogle, Sexson and related families.
