Germanna was established in 1714 in Orange County but ceased to exist by the 1730's. Many of the colonists moved to Germantown in Fauquier County. That town ceased to exist by 1760. Some colonists had moved to the Hebron Church area in Madison County.
1967 issue celebrated the 250th anniversary of the second Germanna colony. .
Contains historical and genealogical addresses, society news, lists for the colonial wars (for the descendants of the Germanna colonists living in Culpeper County) and one hundred seventeen petitioners [of the Hebron Lutheran Church], and other information. .
