Notes

Volumes 1-2 include administrators/executors and guardians but the later volumes are seperated. Guardian volumes are noted with the film numbers. Guardian dockets include not only minors but those legally incompetent. The dates given here are the dates of the first action by the court.

These dockets give some or all of the following: deceased, guardian, administrator/executor, appraisors, probate date, citation, elections and account summaries. They index the court records themselves.

Includes index for each volume. Beginning with volume 4 the index gives the case number as well as the page of the dockett.

The indexes for volumes 1-2 include the name of the deceased and the name of the guardian, if any. For administrator/executor volumes, volumes 3, 19-22 give the name of the deceased only but beginning with volume 5 the administrator/ executor is also included for all other volumes. The guardian indexes give guardian and some indication of ward.

Microfilm of originals at the county courthouse, Springfield.
