All 202 rolls of the Van Eeghen Collecticome from the Municipal Archives of Amsterdam.

The Holland Land Company Archives contain a large variety of documents. They include the following: Actual investment reports, land purchase negotiations, warrants, patents, titles, land sales ledgers, copies of land contracts, mortgages, deeds, evaluations of delinquent settlers homesteads, financial records, tax assessments and payments, legal, financial and banking records, a large variety of maps, miscellaneous documents of United States government concerns, and a wealth of correspondence between the settlers, the agents and the Dutch proprietors in three languages.

Most of the records (v. : maps) kept in Holland are written in Dutch. All of Cazenove's papers and most of Busti's letters are in French. The remaining papers of the collectiare in English.
