Thomas Spragg (1729-1812) and Mary Carman (1752-1821) were married in 1752, at Hempstead, L.I., New York. He was a Captain in the Torrie Loyalist army. In 1783, they moved to Kings Co., New Brunswick, Canada. Descendants migrated westward in Canada, and some returned to the United States and settled in Iowa, Massachusetts, Montana and elsewhere.
Includes Davis, Gillies, Michel, Sawyer, Secord and related families.
