Notes

"The Glas(s)cocks of England and America is a supplement to [The Glas(s)cock-Glassco Saga]. It is not a revision, and it does not repeat material of the first book. This book records almost all of the known data about the family in England prior to 1643 and in America in colonial times. It also contains many interesting stories and accounts about later branches of the family, as well as additions and corrections to The Saga." -- page i.

Thomas Glascock (fl.1643-1660) immigrated from England to Warwick County, Virginia in 1643, and later moved to land in Richmond County, Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, North Carolina, West Virginia, Missouri, Texas and elsewhere. Includes ancestry and some family history in England to about 1400.

Includes index (listing Glassco as a variant spelling).

Includes Ball, Barber, Carter, Downman, Tarpley, Washington and related families.

Also available on microfiche.
