Middletown was renamed Middletown Springs about 1884.
Contains records of deeds, mortgages, laying out of roads, division of fences, and other records of land. Volumes 1 and 2 contain also proceedings of town meetings, records of births, marriages, deaths, strays, earmarks, other miscellaneous town records.
