Case files are in numerical and chronological order. The dates given in the Family History Library Catalog are the dates the cases were filed. Individual case files, however, often include documents created over a period of years.
Seven files from 1866-1875 were filmed out of order and are listed at the beginning of the film notes. In a few instances, case files were filmed twice.
Some early records, especially from the territorial period (1812-1821) are in French and English.
