Richard Beauford, son of John Beauford, was born in about 1617 in England. He married Margaret Vause in about 1637 in Lancaster County, Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, New York, Maine, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Texas and California.
