Marriage license forms were required to be signed by a Probate judge.
In the bound marriage record books, marriage affidavits were also filled out along with marriage licenses beginning in February 1889.
There are two collections of marriage licenses. One collection is in bound volumes. The other collection is in folders which are filed in order by the surname of the groom. In the folders, some marriage affidavits were included with the marriage licenses beginning in June 1903.
Each volume includes its own index.
