Microfilm made of typescript (18 leaves, chiefly carbon copy) donated by L. Ruth Verrill, Chiefland, Florida.

S. Blitch received a land grant in 1743 on Turkey Creek near Tusculum, Effingham County, Georgia. Abram or Abraham Blitch and Thomas Blitch were among his sons, and both served in the Revolutionary War. Thomas died in the Battle of Brandywine in 1777, and James Blitch (1808-1860) was his grandson. Descendants and relatives lived in Georgia, Florida and elsewhere.

Includes Brooks, Deiffenworth, Fant, Perkins, Perryman, Rutledge and related families.
