Jacob Wolf was born in 1764 in Virginia. His parents were Jeremiah Wolf and Elizabeth. He married Hannah Kinsey, daughter of Henry A. Kinsey and Eva Wampler, 2 March 1801 in Franklin County, Virginia. They had ten children. He married Elizabeth Cripe in 1834 in Dayton, Ohio. They had one child. He died 11 July 1849 in Dayton, Ohio. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Germany, Switzerland, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Indiana.
