The original records were microfilmed in 1956-57 by the INS and then destroyed. Later the microfilms were transferred to the National Archives.

"On the 112 rolls of this microfilm publication...are reproduced over 610,000 nonstatistical manifests and statistical index cards of alien arrivals at Laredo, Texas, May 1903-November 1929. Some U.S. citizens are also included" -- P. 1.
