NOTE: "During the month of July of each year, the clerk of the Board of School Directors in each separate school district of the several counties of this State, shall be required, and are hereby empowered and directed, to collect and report to the Secretary of the County Board of Health (the County Court Clerk) each birth and death occurring within their respective districts during the scholastic year last preceding, all such reports and returns of births and deaths thus collected shall be delivered to the Secretary of the County Board of Health (the County Court Clerk) not later than the first day of August of each year." Biennial report of the State Board of Health of Tennessee p. 235-236.
