These are records of the United Stakes District Court which met in Atoka which was in the Choctaw Nation in Indian Territory. Most of the cases pertain to civil matters including some divorce and naturalization records.
These records include a general index to civil cases and journal entries covering 1899-1901, but few of the records referenced in the index are included with this title. (We microfilmed what was available at the county courthouse.).
