George Clarence Gravlee, Jr. was born in 1940 in Gadsden, Alabama. His parents were George Clarence Gravlee, Sr. and Julia Peyton Rudisill. He married Diane Druin in 1962. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Alabama, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, South Carolina, Texas, Massachusetts and England.
