Marriage bond book was copied from the originals and transcribed with care to insure accuracy.
Marriage bond book has several handwritten pages of missed bonds and then is alphabetical by the groom's name. Gives date of bond, names of parties, name of surety, name of parent or guardian, and sometimes marriage date.
Loose marriage bonds are arranged by year and give names of the bondsmen, date of bond, amount of bond, and names of parties to be married. Sometimes gives a parent's name. Includes some parental permissions (marriage consents), ministers' returns, marriage licenses and certificates.
Marriage bond book includes bride index. Index gives year, names of female (bride) and male (groom), and parent of the bride (if known).
