John Watkins, Jr. was born before 1693 in Isle of Wight County, Virginia. His parents were John Watkins, Sr. and Mary. He married Sarah. They had two known sons, James and William. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.
