Notes

A record of the descendants of William Walthall who was born in London circa. 1608. He came to Virginia prior to 15 January 1656 as he is listed at this time as one of the four justices of Henrico County. In approximately the same year he married Anne Archer who is thought to have been the daughter of George Archer. They had four children. William died sometime between 2 August 1669 and 15 March 1672. Descendants have resided in Virginia, Georgia, Louisiana, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, and elsewhere.

Contains information on the Walthall, Morgan, and other related families.

Manuscript originally located in the Larkin Edwards Room of the Shreveport Memorial Library, Shreveport, Louisiana, and formed a part of the files of Wanda Volentine Head.
