These probate case files are filmed in numerical order in three series with three indexes -- the main set of probate case files, files pertaining to estates of minors, and files with will packets. Files with confidential information pertaining to guardianship, insanity and adoptions have been removed, leaving gaps in case numbers.

Before Oklahoma became a state, this area of Bryan County was under the jurisdiction of the Durant Division of the Central Judicial District, Indian Territory.
