Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Pinnell and Royall families who were friendly neighboring entities near the Seine in Normandy. Their families intermarried many times in Normandy, England, and America. Some ancestors immigrated to America, such as: Thomas Pinel who left the Isle of Wight with his son Clement in 1642 and settled in Virginia Colony; Robert and Hannah Johnson Pennell of Balderton, England, settled Pennsylvania Colony in 1686; James Pinnell (1740-1821) of London, and wife Elizabeth Wright who settled Virginia Colony in 1765; Joseph Royall of England settled Virginia Colony in 1620; William Royall who came to Pennsylvania in 1685; and Isaac Royall who settled first in Island Antigua of the West Indies, then went to Massachusetts Bay Colony in the mid-1700's and escaped to Canada after the Revolutionary War. Descendants of these and other Pennell and Royall progenitors migrated to Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Washington D.C., and Australia, Germany, England, and elsewhere.

Also includes Raoul, Rawl, Royal, Royle, Ryle, Ryole, Ryol, and Pannell, Parnel, Paynel, Paynell, Penel, Peynell, Pinel, Pienall, Pinnell, Pyneaux, and other variant spellings.

Also includes Coen, Hoey, Howlate, Maris, Mayes, Mendenhall, Moss, Settles, Stroud, White, Yale, and other related families.
