Due to the passing of President Jeffrey R. Holland and the desire for many of our staff to attend the funeral services, the FamilySearch Library will have reduced operational hours on December 31, 2025. All microfilms and microfiche are located on the B1 floor in numerical order.
FamilySearch Library Film Collection
As of September of 2021, all microfilms have been digitized and digitally preserved (See FamilySearch Microfilms Fully Digitized). FamilySearch has preserved a master physical copy of each film. Every film available in the Library is a duplicate of those stored in FamilySearch's archives.
A few of the floors in the Library will be remodeled to accommodate evolving patron trends. Any physical film currently accessible in the Library, but not available online, will continue to be available in the Library.
Limited access films can be viewed digitally at FamilySearch.org while visiting the FamilySearch Library.
