Ancestry and some descendants of Madelyn Kay (Smith) Hunter (b.1930), a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Jay Vivian Smith and Gwendolyn Lillian Oliver. Madelyn married Evan Guardello Hunter (b.1927) in St. George, Utah, and they settled in San Francisco, California, moving later to Willits, California. Four of their five children survived, married, and produced progeny. Madelyn is a direct descendant in the seventh generation of Joseph Smith (1772-1807) and Elizabeth Fuller (d.1876) of Washington County, Pennsylvania. Other ancestors lived in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, New York, New England and elsewhere. Ancestors also lived in England, Sweden and elsewhere. The Swedish ancestors lived in Kil and Nora and elsewhere in Örebro County, and in Beateberg and elsehwere in Skaraborg County. Includes many vicarious and living temple ordiance dates between 1898 and 1988.

Includes Austin, Brown (Browne), Chapman, Denaut, Ferris, Oliver, Oman, O'Neall, Seal and related families.
