Henry Houston McCoslin was born in 1794 in North Carolina. He married Sarah America Worthy ca. 1815-1816, daughter of Martin (1732-1819) and Phoebe Worthy. Henry and Sarah were married in Chester District, South Carolina. They later settled in Alabama. Martin Worthy was a son of Thomas Worthy (1700-1778) who died in Charlotte County, Virginia. Descendants lived in Alabama, Texas and elsewhere.

Includes Wood, Mitchell, Wilson, Gilchrist, Reese, and related families.

Includes a transcription of Wilson Chapel Cemetery near Donie, Texas in Freestone County.
