Chiefly a record of some of the descendants of Aaron Smith. He was born ca. 1720 probably on the Virginia, North Carolina line probably to John Smith and Frances Keeling. He married Elizabeth Carraway in 1741 in either Albermarle County, Virginia or Craven County, North Carolina. She was born in 1726 in North Carolina to John Carraway and Margaret Keeling. He died 1 Jul 1776 in 96 District, South Carolina. She died 1 Jul 1776 in 96 District, South Carolina. They were the parents of at least six known children. .
