Peter Fontaine, son of Jaques Fontaine and Anne Elizabeth Boursiquot, was born on 1 Dec 1691 in Taunton, Somerset, England. He married Elizabeth Fourreau, daughter of Ayme Fourreau Sieur de Toucheronde and Mariane Ingrand, on 19 Mar 1714 in Dublin, Ireland. They immigrated in 1715 to Virginia. They had 2 children. Elizabeth died about 1724 in Charles City County, Virginia. Peter married Sarah Wade, daughter of Joseph Wade and Elizabeth Lide, about 1739 in Charles City County, Virginia. They had 6 children. Peter died in July 1759 in Westover Parish, Charles City County, Virginia. Sarah died 10 Aug 1784 in Hanover County, Virginia. Their descendants have lived in Virginia, Kentucky, Missouri, Arkansas, and other areas in the United States.
