Samuel Coombs, Sr. and his first wife, Miss Wilkes, lived in Loudoun County, Virginia. After his wife's death, Samuel married Elizabeth Williams, widow of Thomas Williams. They immigrated to Nelson County, Kentucky. Descendants lived in Kentucky, Texas, Indiana, California, Missouri, Illinois, and elsewhere.
Includes Bowling, Wilkes, Cash, Hickman, and related families.
