Chiefly ancestors of Matt Savage Walton, also known as "Papaw." He was the son of Joseph Frazee Walton (1854-1918) and his wife, Lily Dale Savage Walton (1858-1916). Ancestors include: John Walton (d. 1640) of Devizes, Wiltshire, England, and Elizabeth County, Virginia; and James? Savage, a Revolutionary War soldier, of Wales and Virginia.
