Microfilm of records located at the Cass County Courthouse, Logansport, Indiana.
These order books, or complete order books (probate, civil) regarding partitioning of real property, or to clear or "quiet" title to land, or to clarify the disposition of real estate as a result of divorce, etc., are not necessarily in chronological order. The dates noted are the dates when the clerk finally recorded all papers, filings and petitions pertaining to individual cases. Actions, etc., could have been started several years earlier and final records completed at a later date.
Most volumes include individual indexes.
