Title for book and author for three of the sections taken from donor. Section for John Wilson Jr. was written by John Derum (or Derwm).
John Wilson Sr. married Percilla Trent in 1772 in Cumberland Co., Virginia. They had 12 children. John died in Hempstead County, Arkansas, in 1826. His wife died in 1836 in Clark County, Arkansas. His son, John Wilson Jr., was born in 1787 in Buckingham County, Virginia. John Jr. married in 1810 to Sally Byrd, daughter of Amos Byrd and Ann Gillespie. They had at least 12 children. Sally died ca. 1844-1845 in Pike County, Arkansas. In 1845, John Jr. remarried to Emily Brown, daughter of John Brown and Elizabeth McCreary. They married either in Missouri or in Texas. They had 6 children. John Jr. died in 1864 in Dallas County, Texas. His wife Emily died in 1900.
The estate of William Cox was recorded in 1767 in Baltimore County, Maryland. His wife Ruth was named the administratrix. She was the daughter of Joseph and Ann (Merriman) Bosley and the granddaughter of Walter and Mary Eliz. (Cume) Bosley. She emigrated from Maryland to Tennessee with her 7 children. In 1815 she died in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Descendants lived in Tennessee and elsewhere.
Ely Edmondson was born ca. 1803 in North Carolina. He married Percilla Logan, daughter of Charles and Mason (Wilson) Logan. (Mason was the daughter of the above John Wilson Sr.) Ely and Percilla had 6 children. He died before 1860 in Hempstead County, Arkansas, while Percilla died sometime after 1860. Descendants lived in Arkansas and elsewhere.
Divided into four sections: John Wilson, Sr. family, Missouri and Arkansas (8 leaves); John Wilson Jr. (1787-1864) (47 leaves); Cox [family] (11, [2] leaves); and Edmondson [family] (4 leaves).
