John Grigsby (d. ca. 1826) of Hawkins County, Tennessee, named in his will, his wife, Winney?, six sons and three daughters. His son, William Grigsby, was probably the father of Willey A. Grigsby (1821-1892). He and his wife, Nancy Campbell Grigsby (1827-1870), were both born in Hawkins County. They had at least nine children, ca. 1850-1866. Their son, Joseph A. Grigsby (1866-1944), was born at White Horn, Tennessee. He married Annie Laurie Julian (1866-1951) in 1891 at Graysville, Georgial. They had five children, 1893-1902.
