Thomas Wingfield 1670-1720 of York, River, Virginia and William Wingfield of Charles city, Virginia families moved to North Carolina, Kentucky and Georgia. Wingfield Wright, baptized 1691 in New Kent County, Virginia moved to North Carolina. John Bibb Wood was born April 17, 1839 in Tennessee.
