Family history and genealogical information about the ancestors and descendants of Thomas Benjamin King who was born ca. 1803 in Petersburg, Dinwiddie Co., Virginia. He was a descendant of Michael King who immigrated to America from England sometime prior to the year 1670 and married Elizabeth Hiry. Thomas married Elizabeth (surname also King) sometime prior to the year 1829. They lived in North Carolina and were the parents of three known children. Descendants lived in North Carolina, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, California and elsewhere.

Includes information on the Crowther, Edgar, Rumsey and Swofford families.
