The genealogy (24 leaves, typescript) contains correspondence and typed copies of Bible records (including the above Bible record). It follows several Wilson lines. One line is James Wilson and wife Rebecca Wilson who came to America and lived first in Pennsylvania, then moved ca. 1760 to Virginia. His descendants, ca. 1751-1879, lived in Virginia, Kentucky and Tennessee. Another line is William Wilson and wife Barbara McKane Wilson who came to America in 1729 from Ireland and moved to Virginia about 1747. It includes his descendants, ca. 1732-1791. Related families are Winget and McKnight.
