Notes

History of the Kynäs/Suutara family of Satakunta (Turku-Pori County), Finland. The forefather of this family was Juha Matinpoika Kynä/ Kynäs, who was born in Western Finland in 1717. He lived in an area which is now Pomarkku parish, Tuunajärvi village. From 1737 on he used surname Suutara, which he took after the Suutara farm he owned in Hämeenkyrö parish.

Satakunnan Suutaran suvun historiaa.
