Notes
There were six brothers who did business as the "Berry bros." This volume gives some details of their ancestry, their sisters and other brothers, and many of their descendants. The six were sons of Thomas Nelson Berry (1812-1868) and Juliet Sophia King, as follows: William Edward Berry (1844-1929), Isaac King Berry (1850-1945), Thomas Embassy Berry (1852-1899), Andrew Adolphus Berry (1854-1916), George Madison Berry (1858-1939), and Robert Crittenden Berry (1865-1940). They moved from Kentucky to Indian Territory between 1870 and 1880, and their business was established in Oklahoma Territory. Descendants and relatives lived in Oklahoma, Texas, California and elsewhere. This volume shows ancestry back to the early 1700s, but research published elsewhere traces Berry ancestry back to 800 A.D. in the days of Charlemagne.
Includes Arthur, Early, Goodson, King, Laughlin, Mullendore and related families.
Also available on microfilm.
