Ancestral families, chiefly on the Foster and Ellis lines, of the children of Harold Wilson and Esther L. Bowers Boles. Harold Wilson Boles, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, was born in 1915, the son of Forest Joseph Boles (1884-1966) and Audra "B" Foster Boles (1889-1978) of Urbana, Ohio. His maternal grandparents were James Albert Foster (1851-1912) and Margaret Leah Ellis Foster (1864-1943) of Johnson County, Indiana. Harold W. Boles married Esther L. Bowles in 1944. She was born in 1922, the daughter of Loren E. Bowers (1880-1947) and Opal Cecile Speece Bowers (1887-1969).
Ancestors include Edmund? Foster (ca. 1743-ca. 1802) of Albermarle County, Virginia, and Thomas? Ellis (ca. 1732-1782) of Frederick County, Maryland.
