Edward Harwood (d.1632), son of William and Elizabeth Harwood, emigrated in 1619/1620 with a nephew, William, from England to Virginia, and settled on Martin's Hundred (an island in the James River). William moved in 1639 to Charles City County, Virginia. His father, George, immigrated during or before 1661 to Warwick County, Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, Arizona and elsewhere.
